Having had emotional send offs from family and Wey Kayak club members, watered the garden one more time and said her farewells to the hens, Rachel has flown to Rio with the rest of the Kayaking team, to spend 2 weeks in the pre-olympic holding camp. It was a very long flight, eased by the long awaited arrival of another Harry Potter volume!
Rachel is very proud to have been selected to be part of Team GB, to represent her sport, her country at the Rio Olympics 2016. A dream come true!

Brandenburg 2014 is shaping up to be a fantastic competition for Rachel and Lani after they finished first in their semi final on Friday afternoon. The final is on Sunday 16:00 local time.
